Dogs on beaches 8
Out of season the beaches in St Ives are becoming canine latrines. But why should dog owners bother finding a more suitable place when there's the whole of Porthmeor available? Perhaps Penwith should erect notices reserving the use of the beaches for dogs and their owners, allowing the rest of us access only at certain times of day.

I walk my dog regularly on the St Ives beaches and have never come across any dog fouling. Why should dogs and their owners be denied the enjoyment of the beaches which are mostly deserted out of season. Like the majority of owners, I always clean up. I wish the man who walks his dog past my house every day would do the same.
my son was absolutely terrified by some lumbering beast that came charging towards him last year. followed by the usual lame owner saying oh it won't hurt him. oh thanks, that doesn't mean the child isnt frightened!
